What better way to capture California cuisine than pulling inspiration from nature and what it has to offer around us? This was the inspiration for this dinner party held at a beautiful canyon home where we created a menu inspired by the “Land & Sea” around us. Fresh, local Santa Barbara spot prawns baked in rosemary salt, grassfed local beef and whole grilled Pacific fish were among the eclectic menu Chef Nimer brought to the table. Guests drank wine by one of our favorite, ‘Orin Swift’ and nibbled small, pretty hors d’ouevres during tray pass. The evening ended with many empty wine glasses, lots of conversation among melted candles by the soft, warm santa ana winds. Quintessential LA night.
