Do we ever really need a reason to throw a dinner party?  No.  So, we pulled together a little casual friendsgiving of sorts in Venice.  On the menu, plant-forward, unique ‘small plate’ appetizers made of stuffed acorn squash, pink lady & matsutake mushroom salata, Autumn sweet potato flatbread with candied walnuts and mustard frills, marinated feta with crushed roses and pine nuts and a family style dinner for a very LA local crowd.  MJ Design created beautiful flowers, as she always does and a candlelit dinner ensued.
